2.The metal ceramic cutting tool industry

Metal ceramics are known as the new generation of cutting tool materials. Compared with hard alloy milling cutters, metal ceramic milling cutters have a longer lifespan and higher workpiece smoothness. When using conventional grinding wheels for processing, the particle size is too fine and cannot be moved during processing. If the particle size is too high, it is easy to break the edge. At present, diamond grinding wheels, which are the same as hard alloy slotting, are still commonly used in the processing of ceramic cutting tools. However, traditional slotting grinding wheels, including imported products, are difficult to break through 125% of abrasive concentration due to process limitations. During the processing, it is easy to produce problems such as tool product breakage and substandard smoothness, and the product qualification rate is not high, making it difficult to meet the standards for batch shipment.
